Then the Konrad-Martin-Haus might just be the right place for you.
Based on the Danish folk high school model, we offer a wide range of residential opportunities in the non-formal education sector. We offer board and lodging, and actively support your Erasmus+ experience while you are here. (Check out our rooms. https://konrad-martin-haus.de/gaestezimmer/)
We have a strong background in community-based adult education, as well as working with adults with disabilities. We are especially happy to offer mobility programs for learner groups who benefit from a hands-on, experience-based program. During your stay learners will broaden their general, social and democratic competencies for an inclusive society.
Our learning programmes are especially designed to suit the interests and needs of learners. We usually develop this programme together with you and include site visits to our local partner organisations, where learners can interact with local learner groups. There is also a focus on local culture and interactive learning tasks outside the class room.
In the past we have successfully hosted learner groups (10 – 20 people) from organizations in Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania and Madeira. Depending on your interest, we can offer an Erasmus+ experience in the following areas:
- Active Aging
- Creating Inclusive Communities
- Culture simply for everyone
- Exploring creativity hands-on
- Hidden Heroines- strong women who shaped local history.
- In the footsteps of famous German artist, composers and philosophers (ideal for learners who are participating in a German language course)
- Personal development and self-care
